There were many things that I loved and will miss about Carlos Meneses. One of those things was that you knew he was always genuinely happy to see us. He was open, honest, funny and you knew that you were welcome around him anytime of the day. It didn't matter who you were in our family, Carlos wanted you to do good. He cared how you were feeling and how your life was going. He was never jealous or competitive towards anybody. He didnt care how much money you had, what type of car you drove, or what your house was like. In fact, he was always excited for anyone when anything good happend to them. He loved us all the same, and he loved us no matter what. Another thing I loved about Carlos was that he always wanted our family to be happy, he always hoped that we could get along and he always hoped that we could just love eachother. I loved the feeling of comfort and family that we got everytime we hung out with Carlos. I never felt not welcome, or like he wanted or needed us to leave. Carlos was truely the one person in our whole family who would always give you a hug, kiss and say "I love you" before you left. He did this every single time you left his house, or he left yours to every single one of us. I will always remember that sincere and genuine love that he was not afraid or embarrassed to show us. Out of all the things I will miss and remember the most about Carlos I will miss that the most. I will never forget it. Carlos loved his family the way someone should, unwaveringly.
