Oh Babies!!

I just wanted to post an update here about two babies that the family is expecting early next year.  David and Heather are expecting a baby girl.  Danielle and Kevin are expecting their first -- a boy!  Danielle and Kevin have already picked out a name, but I haven't heard if the Grimsley's have chosen one yet.  If you need help picking out names you can always ask me for suggestions.  I'm also very good at ruining perfectly good names that people pick out for their children, just in case one of you comes up with a name the other doesn't like.

Also don't forget Dodger can be a girls name or a boys name.

Of course Kevin and Danielle are having a boy! That seems to be the most likely "first" child in this family this generation. Congrats to both couples!

Sorry, I just cant imagine my poor daughter being named Dodger Grimsley... !
I let David pick out the name, and so far everyone likes it :) You will have to ask him what it is. I personally think he did a good job.

Yes, everyone knows that if you are going to name your kid after a sports team, its better to go with college teams. Bulldog Grimsley, Orange Grimsley, Aztec Grimsley, and Banana Slug Grimsley are all very awesome

As long as it's not Gator Grimsley!
I would also stay away from Huskie Grimsley since it's a girl.

I agree somewhat with the Nate, in that Dodger is a perfect name for a wiener dog, but the name Giant will lead to a life of bad eating habits.
You could go with the divine sounding Angel Grimsley, Padre Grimsley, or Cardinal Grimsley. Or something Western, like Cowboy Grimsley, Bronco Grimsley, or Mustang Grimsley.
But you day the new Grimsley will be a daughter. Then how about Aggie Grimsley, Wildcat Grimsley, or the ever-popular Fightin' Irish Grimsley.

Cornhusker Grimsley is also one that should not be left out. that name works equally for a girl and a guy! Boilermaker Grimsley. tell me that doesnt sound like a softball player! Buccaneer Grimsley would be the best name ever but just don't was what color her buccan eyes are!

If you were going with sports names or college names you could have named her Lord jeffs Grimsley (amherst college) OR Cotton blossoms Grimsley (Arkansas-Monticello Boll Weevils and Cotton Blossoms) OR Lady Blues Grimsley (Bluefield State Big Blues and Lady Blues) OR Jennies Grimsley (Central Missouri Mules and Jennies) OR Athenas Grimsley (Claremont-Mudd-Scripps Stags and Athenas) OR Fighting Camal Grimsley (Campbell Fighting Camals) OR my personal favorite Ramblin Wreck Grimsley (Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets and The Ramblin' Wreck) There are many many more great names out there! To many to list!

Seriously? Harrison for a boy is always popular. For those looking for a more feminine name Harrisonetta is in high demand.
