Music?!

It's been too long since we've had a music post here on the blog. We want to know what you are listening to right now. Is there something out there that people are missing? Or are you back into something old? Either way, post your comments about music and we'll try to share some links so people can check them all out.

Check out a few of the links here.

Florence and the Machine; The Black Keys; NeedtoBreathe. That little eclectic group will start my list.

The harry ploppers

ok I made the harry ploppers up but that would be a cool name for a new band. How about some old stuff...Simon and Garfunkel, Peter Green, The Kingston trio, Creedance Clearwater Revival, Hank Williams Sr. and even some Hee Haw quartet! Yeah, I've been hanging with my dad.

you had me all the up until you said Hee Haw, but you know whatever floats your boat.

I've been listening to the Avett Brothers a lot, and according to pandora, I'm a folk music lovin hippie.

the black lips, bombay bicycle club, cerebral ballzy if you need proof that there is still hard core punk being produced out there, the cults, Ron and I both agree he is not too old to like Foster the People, Imelda May, the fratellis

Hee Haw quartet was Buck Owens, Roy Clark, Junior Samples, Charlie McCoy (Bob Dylans Hermonica player) and sometimes David "Stringbean" Akeman who was a banjo and bluegrass legend. Hey, great stuff man, you're missing out!

I just saw the first episode of "No Direction Home" It's the Dylan Documentary by Martin Scorcese. Had to dig up some of the old stuff from my collection. Blonde on Blonde is still one of the best albums ever.

Don't know if anyone listens to em, but the Bright Eyes album People's Key came out back in February. Good album. The Foster the People album is really good, too. Kinda odd. I've started listening to Minus the Bear, as well.

I just saw Blink 182 last night and this duo Matt and Kim opened the night and they were really, really good. Their music is fun and pretty light-hearted. If anyone has time, check em out.
