Another Random Question of the Month?

Well, it's been a while and the last one was bumped off the front page. So here's another one for you guys. Reading some of the old questions made me think of this one.

What is your favorite children's book?

There are no rules to this random question theme, anyone is welcome to post them. I just try to make sure we have one every month. Okay, have at it.

Some of the things you may see in Venice Beach

This was one of my favorite sights of Venice beach. An old school ocean fishing pole off the very end of the old wooden pier.

Hippies Everywhere!! This wasnt even a quarter of the size of a massive beach drum circle!

This guy had a full indian feather set of wings (not seen in picture) and was obviously under the influence of some liquid fun!

Just someones beach home front yard. I thought it was pretty cool.

Me and the bush man had a nice cold one together while discussing the intricacies and techniques of the public air guitar

Mobile Blogging

So here's an easy way that people out there can blog. Use your phone to send in photos and messages to the blog. That way even when you're away from your computer you can still post and share.

Here's how to start a mobile blog:

Text REGISTER to BLOGGR to create your mobile blog. We'll message you back with an address, (so you can visit your new blog on the web) and a token (so you can claim your blog and access it from your account).

OPTIONAL - If you feel like changing anything on your new mobile blog or if you already have a Blogger account and want the posts to go to your existing blog, you can log in to go.blogger.com and enter the token we sent to your phone. You'll then have the option to claim your new mobile blog and merge it with your existing blog. Note to users whose blog address does not contain blogspot.com: Once you make the aforementioned switch, new mobile posts will be published to your chosen blog but mobile posts published prior to the switch will not be moved over automatically.

* if you are sending photos send them to go.blogger.com, at least that's what I have to do with my phone. There is also an option to send in posts via email anyone interested can let me know and I'll help them out with that.

Just a Note

Hello Everybody! I just wanted to pass along a little reminder/request for family members out there to keep contributing news, photos, officer scraps stories, or whatever here on the Meneses Spot. Nate (not to put you on the spot) was saying that we should have two random questions and Aunt Maria wanted us to make sure that we keep the blog going, and I totally agree with that input. Being the stats geek that I am, I noticed that we are actually getting more traffic this year than last and even more posts, so that's a good thing. What I would like to see is more updates from the East Coasters/Southerners. Another good thing, I think, will be the ability to use more than one social website. So far all you facebook/twitter etc. people out there, be sure to link your photos or news here also. Thank you to all of you out there who do continue to post or comment and keep this blog fresh. That's my two Abe Lincolns, pennies not fives, for what it's worth.
